Team Leader

Role Purpose:

 The MEP Team Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of building services and systems. The role involves leading a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, maintaining service quality, and supporting facility operations.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

 Supervise and lead MEP technicians in daily maintenance activities.
Plan, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance works.
Ensure proper functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and related systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders regarding maintenance requirements.
Prepare maintenance reports, work schedules, and service records.
Monitor material consumption and raise requirements for spare parts and tools.
Ensure team adherence to company policies, procedures, and HSE standards.
Train, guide, and evaluate technicians to improve performance and productivity.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

 Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in MEP maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and building management systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Good leadership, planning, and team management skills.
Familiarity with CAFM/BMS systems is an advantage.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Knowledge of UAE facility management practices and safety regulations preferred.
