Civil Technician

Role Purpose:

 The Civil Technician is responsible for carrying out civil maintenance works within the facility, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure the building structure and finishes are maintained in safe and good condition.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine civil maintenance such as masonry, plastering, tiling, painting, and minor carpentry works
• Attend and resolve civil-related maintenance complaints (cracks, leakages, damaged tiles, doors, partitions, etc.)
• Carry out preventive maintenance of building structures and finishes
• Inspect building areas to identify civil defects and repair requirements
• Assist in renovation and minor construction works when required
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and as per company procedures
• Maintain proper records of work completed and materials used

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• ITI/Diploma or relevant civil maintenance experience
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities management
• Knowledge of basic civil works such as masonry, painting, plastering, and carpentry
• Ability to identify and rectify structural and finishing defects
• Basic understanding of safety practices in maintenance work
• Ability to work independently and respond to maintenance requests
