ELV Technician

Role Purpose:

The ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems within the facility, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and meet operational and safety standards.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, public address (PA), intercom, and structured cabling
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of ELV equipment and systems
• Monitor system performance and respond to service requests or faults
• Support system testing, commissioning, and upgrades when required
• Maintain proper documentation and service records
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technical teams for issue resolution

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Diploma/ITI or relevant technical certification in Electronics/ELV systems
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in ELV system installation and maintenance, preferably in facilities management
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, structured cabling, fire alarm interface, and PA systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair ELV-related faults
• Basic understanding of networking and system integration
• Good communication and teamwork skills
