Role Purpose:

The job holder will be primarily responsible for coordinating & assisting Tradesman/workers for carrying out periodic site/maintenance work progress in all day-to-day activities, ensuring all technical works in accordance with specification and the project management manual. First line manager of staff from all disciplines employed on contracts.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

Â Daily Operations Management

Ensure consistent execution of PPM and reactive maintenance for MEP assets, including testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Update task statuses in the CAFM system and generate work completion reports for reactive and additional MEP works.
Assess team performance and provide recommendations to the Senior MEP Engineer or MEP Manager.
Conduct audits on MEP tools and equipment as required.

Resource Management

Allocate and manage resourcesâ€”personnel, equipment, and materialsâ€”to optimize PPM, reactive maintenance, and testing activities across MEP systems.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the CAFM system and ensure availability of MEP consumables and materials for maintenance tasks.

Safety & Compliance

Plan work assignments to ensure safe systems of work for all MEP maintenance tasks.
Lead by example to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance across all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities.
Supervise personnel to ensure adherence to safety protocols and provide guidance for continuous improvement.
Participate in emergency evacuation procedures and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.

MEP Maintenance

Conduct regular QHSE inspections in line with the QHSE plan and schedule.
Ensure timely resolution of audits, maintenance issues, and reactive tasks, adhering to the PPM schedule.
Guarantee that all MEP work is performed safely and to the highest quality standards.

Customer Satisfaction

Liaise with clients or their representatives to ensure MEP maintenance and additional works meet specifications and expectations.
Maintain high customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt issue resolution.

Quality Control

Identify, report, and address deficiencies in PPM, reactive maintenance, and testing/commissioning of MEP systems according to company quality procedures.
Ensure all MEP maintenance work is completed on time, meeting required standards and specifications.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Mechanical /Electrical Engineering Diploma/ITI with 8 years’ Experience in the FM field.
IOSH Supervising Safely or Equivalent
At least 4 year’s experience in a Supervisory role.
Good Knowledge of all elements of FM services both Hard and Soft.
Fluency in English and additional Languages is a plus.
Computer knowledge is a must
