ELV Supervisor

Role Purpose:

The purpose of the ELV Supervisor role is to ensure the successful delivery of ELV systems by managing technicians and subcontractors, maintaining quality and safety standards, meeting project timelines, and coordinating effectively with project teams, consultants, and clients. The ELV Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring reliable system performance, smooth site operations, and timely project handover.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate ELV technicians and subcontractors on site
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily ELV activities to meet project timelines
• Ensure installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
• Systems include CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, SMATV, IPTV, Public Address, Intercom, and related ELV systems
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, HSE requirements, and local authority regulations
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and other MEP trades
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on site
• Conduct inspections and support consultant/client inspections and approvals
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ELV systems installation, supervision, or maintenance
• Proven experience supervising ELV technicians and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, SMATV, IPTV, Public Address, Intercom, and related systems
• Ability to read and interpret ELV drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Team supervision and manpower management
• Planning and coordination skills
