Elevator Technician

Role Purpose:

Elevator Technician is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of elevators and escalators through regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs. The purpose of this role is to ensure reliable vertical transportation, minimize breakdowns, and maintain compliance with safety standards and local regulations across residential, commercial, and industrial buildings in UAE

Key Task and Responsibilities:

An Elevator Technician in Dubai is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing elevators and escalators to ensure safe and reliable operation. The role includes performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance, identifying and fixing mechanical or electrical faults, responding to breakdowns and emergency calls, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations. The technician also maintains basic service records and reports technical issues to supervisors to support smooth building operations

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic to moderate experience in elevator or escalator installation, maintenance, or repair
• Knowledge of elevator mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely
• Familiarity with safety procedures, tools, and equipment
• Understanding of local safety standards and inspection requirements
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams
• Physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
