Landscaping Architect

Role Purpose:

The Landscape Architect/Draftsman is responsible for designing, developing, and preparing technical landscape drawings and layouts. This role involves both creative design and technical drafting for landscape projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications, site conditions, and applicable regulations

Key Task and Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual and detailed landscape designs for residential, commercial, and public projects.
• Prepare site analysis, landscape plans, irrigation layouts, hardscape designs, and planting plans using CAD and other design software.
• Create technical drawings, BOQs, and documentation for tender submissions and construction.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and horticulturists to integrate design and site requirements.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with local landscaping codes and environmental standards.
• Participate in on-site visits to assess progress and ensure implementation of design intent.
• Support the estimation and procurement teams by providing detailed quantity take-offs and specifications

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Landscape Architect or Draftsman in landscaping or construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and other design tools.
• Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, irrigation systems, and hardscape elements.
• Excellent drafting, design, and visualization skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
