Draughtsman

Role Purpose:

To draft technical drawings for different structures, using client notes and rough sketches to create designs. Ensuring final designs are compliant to local regulations.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

• Production of drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Providing information and or assistance to site personnel
• Providing area calculations to assist QS Dept
• Maintaining accurate records of time spent
• Checking all drawings prior to handover for accuracy, compliance, and presentation.
• Meeting site design coordinator if required
• Logical filing of data
• Backing up work to server on a regular basis

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum 5 to 7 Years of similar experience
• Experience in Villa finishes is essential.
• Experience in BIM modelling is added advantage.
• Autocad Certification
