Head Of Landscaping

Role Purpose:

The Head of Landscaping is responsible for overseeing the landscaping department, ensuring they align with client needs and sustainability goals and stakeholders’ vision. This role involves establishing the department, serving clients todeliver high-quality service, and implementing cost-effective, environmentally friendly solutions. Additionally, the Head of Landscaping ensures compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the facilities.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

Leadership: Lead the landscapingdepartment to set up revenue streams and deliver business strategy as set by the management.

Landscape Planning and Design: Lead the design and development of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are aesthetically appealing, functional, and meet client specifications.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the landscaping team, providing guidance on daily operations, training, and performance evaluation.

Project Oversight: Oversee landscaping projects from inception to completion, including site assessments, resource allocation, and quality control.

Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets for landscaping projects, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.

Client Liaison: Communicate directly with clients to understand their landscaping needs, present design proposals, and ensure satisfaction with completed work.

Maintenance Scheduling: Create and implementmaintenance schedules for regular upkeep of landscaping areas, ensuring they remain in excellent condition throughout the year.

Sustainability Initiatives: Promote and integrate environmentally sustainable practices, such as water conservation, waste reduction, and the useof native plants.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all landscaping activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, conductingrisk assessments andimplementing safety protocols.

Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of landscaping services, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring work meets company and client standards.

Vendor and Supplier Management: Manage relationships with externalvendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering or landscaping.

Experience: 10+ years of leading and delivering landscaping services in UAE.

Knowledge: Strong understandingof landscaping services, landscaping projects and nursery setup.

Skills: Leadership,Management, CommunicationSkills, Analytical Skills etc.
